What is the Festival of the Arts?

        Festival of the Arts is an inclusive arts and culture day, at the Ice House Amphitheater in Lexington, SC. This event will present an opportunity for a large variety of arts groups and other non-profit organizationsEach individual vendor booth will have their own activities for families to get involved in and learn more about the non-profit organizations in their area. Festival of the Arts is increasing not only community awareness, but also highlighting opportunities for philanthropy. 

When is the Festival of the Arts?

        Festival of the Arts will be held on Sunday, November 3 at the Lexington Icehouse Amphitheater from 10 AM- 4 PM. 

Why should I attend and support the Festival of the Arts?

        The Festival of the Arts is a place for artisans throughout the 11 County area to share their work and network with other artisans and their surrounding community. The public is invited to join the Columbia City Ballet and Central Carolina Community Foundation in celebration of the arts and to see the beautiful works of art made by Columbia artisans and see performances free of cost.

Do I need to register if I am a local nonprofit organization in need of a booth? 

        Yes. If interested in presenting your art or organization please register and further information will be emailed to you. Booth fee will cost $20 at registration.

Do I need to register if I would like my group to perform at Festival of the Arts?

        Yes. Further instruction on when your group will perform will be given to you after registering. The slots will be anywhere from 10-30 minutes.

Where can I register if I am a representative of a local nonprofit organization or want my company to perform at Festival of the Arts?

Do I need to register if I want to come to the festival?

        No. Admission to patrons is FREE.

How many performances will be held throughout the day?

        There will be over 15 performances throughout the day; including dancing, live music, theatre, and craft shows.

Is food and beverage included?

        No. Food and beverage will be available for purchase from 12-3 PM.
